Overview
Ross Anderson is a registered psychologist, executive coach and an experienced designer, developer and facilitator of leadership development initiatives for a broad range of organisations.
A former Director of MBS Mt Eliza executive education with responsibility for the public sector Australia and Pacific region he has managed large complex change initiatives in Defence, Health and Utilities. He was also responsible for a global project with BHP Billiton. In addition to designing and facilitating leadership and change programs, Ross has undertaken extensive research into strategies to identify and develop High Potential staff and has become recognised as an authority on the use of Development Centres to determine leadership capabilities. He also assists organisations to develop and articulate Leadership Capability frameworks to benchmark leadership development initiatives.
Ross has worked extensively in change management, consulting to organisations involved in restructuring or strategic realignment. He is the Regional Partner of Experience Point® www.experiencepoint.com and delivers their sophisticated computer based change simulations.
As an Executive Coach he brings his rich background as a practicing psychologist and expertise with standardised assessment instruments to tailor unique interventions for executives. He is particularly interested in peak performance and in managing work and whole of life balance, resilience and motivation.
His initial career as a psychologist was in clinical practice and he became a leader in the field of trauma management and crisis response and was a former Director of the National Trauma Clinic. His trauma experience included attendance at Queen St., Hoddle Street and Port Arthur Massacres and workplace injuries and fatalities and with victims of crime and offenders. He has given evidence in County, Magistrates and Supreme Courts.

He also has particular in alcohol and drug related issues.

Ross has recently provided consulting services and developed and facilitated customised programs for Australian Federal Police, Ambulance Victoria, ACTEW Water, BHP Billiton, South Australia Health, Defence Materiel Organisation, Melbourne Water, Vic Roads, Mars, Fosters, VISY, Laminex, BankWest and worked on public programs for executives from organisations in Australia, Asia, South Africa, South America and the South Pacific.

Dr. Sandy Gordon, PhD, FAPS

Sandy is a Professor of Sport and Exercise Psychology at UWA

Registered Sport Psychologist (WA), Fellow member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), and Member both of the APS College of Sport and Exercise Psychologists (CoSEP) and APS Interest Group in Coaching Psychology (IGCP). Accreditation includes Advanced and Professional Development Executive Coaching certificates from the Institute of Coaching and Consulting Psychology (U. Sydney).
Overview
He is also accredited to administer DRIVE (Daniel Pink) Cultural Transformation Tools (CTT), Extended DISC, Hogan, MBTI, and Realise2 Strengths Assessment (Team and Individual) tools. He is also a trained practitioner in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Appreciative Inquiry (AI), Health Coaching (HCA), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Open Space Technology (OST).

In sport he has contributed to coach education programs in over ten different countries and has consulted with the Cricket Boards and national teams of Australia, India, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe. He has facilitated strategic planning initiatives with Hampshire (England) and Western Australian Cricket Associations, and similar involvement with Australian Football League (AFL and WAFL) teams and the Australian Professional Golfers Association (PGA) is ongoing. He has also coached performing artists, and clients have included opera singers, rock bands, and a contemporary dance company.

In business settings both overseas and in Australia Sandy’s engagements have included facilitation of emotional intelligence, mental toughness and resilience programs (Banks, Business Consulting Groups, Call Centres), creating high performance leadership cultures (Banks, Real Estate firms), high performance team work (Call Centres, Mining firms, Real Estate companies), decision-making skills (energy firm) and strategic planning (small businesses). Executive Coaching experience includes C-level individuals in both public (ABC, ATO, DoH, DoIR, DSR) and private sectors (Accountants, Banks, Builders, Financiers, Lawyers, Local Govt.).

Sandy’s professional platform and appreciative strengths-based coaching philosophy is solution-focused, which underlies his work in enhancing performance and enabling talent with both teams and individuals. He views coaching as a leadership style and, in collaboration with coachees, endeavours to create buy-in and sustainable change. Overview
Ken specialises in developing organisational and individual capability through consulting, training and personalised coaching. Specific areas of application in this regard are Leadership, Culture, Change Management, Strategy, Team Development, Resilience, Engagement, Communication and Performance Management.
He has worked at the executive level at The Alfred Hospital (Melbourne) as Director, Information Services, where he had responsibility for some 100 staff and successfully led some of the most significant business transformation initiatives tackled in the health sector at the time. He has also worked at the executive level at Honda Australia as National Manager Information Systems and in that capacity drove substantial strategic change initiatives. Other career experience includes senior roles in Ansett Australia, the Ministry of Housing and the S.A. Highways Department and in each case he was again utilised to help drive major change initiatives.
Ken has been an Associate of Mt Eliza Executive Education (now part of Melbourne Business School) for 14 years and in that capacity has conducted consulting and management training for many of Australia’s most significant organisations. Ken has provided extensive coaching at general management, CEO and Board levels.

Ken’s clients have included National Australia Bank, Australian Stock Exchange, Defence Materiel Organisation (DMO), Australian Unity, Australian Rugby Union, Defence Support Group (DSG), City of Port Phillip, Queensland Health, Ambulance Victoria, Australian Federal Police, Coles Myer Ltd. and Qantas.
As examples of recent assignments, Ken has delivered senior leadership training at Ambulance Victoria, resilience workshops and customer sales workshops at City of Port Phillip, team development workshops at Queensland Health and learning circles at Australian Federal Police (SES level). Perhaps his most notable achievement in recent years has been the design and development of a suite of leadership programs supporting the extensive change agenda at Defence Materiel Organisation (DMO). Some 2000 staff have now received training at DMO and Ken continues to support the delivery of these programs in a lead coaching capacity. Additionally, Ken has designed and delivered a number of team development, change management, high potentials and internal coaching and mentoring programs to complement the leadership agenda at DMO, and has designed and facilitated numerous development centre programs.
